Here is the announcement for the new creative team for "My Lifetime Story" for Faith Sisters. I am sooo excited and can't wait to get started. So keep watching for my posts.

SSC and CC Dec. Mingle

I am using this card for two things this week. First is the Stampin Sister's in Christ Challenge #17. The challenge is to get out your crafting *treasures* and use on your cards or other projects this week, in other words BLING IT UP (ie. charms, gems, pearls, dazzling diamonds, flowers, etc). I had just bought the tin of Prima flowers and wondered how I was going to use them. Now I know!!! I also added some diamond stickles to Tilda's dress. I hope you enoy it.
The other challenge is this card is on CardCafe for the Dec. Mingle. I just had to make a card and send it to my partner and I thought what better than a Christmas card. I do hope she enjoys it.

SSC - Challenge #16

This is the card that I made for Challenge #16. The challenge is to make a card to let someone know you are praying for them, using images of people (men, women and/or children...angels are okay, too!).
I had this image given to me and I recently bought a stamp that says Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. What better way in remember someone in prayer then at bedtime. Hope you all enjoy it!!!

SSC Challenge #14

Our challenge this week was to stop making Christmas cards for a moment and give homage to the spirit of Thanksgiving by making a Thanksgiving Card or, if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, a card or project expressing thanks. So here is my card:

My Lifetime Story at Faith Sisters

As the year is coming to an end we are busy planning for next year. In 2010 we are going back to the basics of leaving a legacy of faith. This years challenges are all focused on YOU and your lifetime story. When you join us in this challenge you will be creating a mini-autobiography. We are counting down the days till January 6th because we are so stinkin' excited about the My Lifetime Story challenges!!!

Wouldn't you to know what your grandma's favorite toy was as a child, how she felt when she met your grandpa, her favorite scripture and the song that expressed her heart? Your children and grandchildren will have that treasure when you join us in this challenge!

We will start out with your family roots in January and move into your childhood in February. We will continue throughout the year with your teen and adult years as well. The last challenge of the year will be a letter to your future generations or anyone who reads your book.

Each of our stories is important. This is a book that everyone should create about themselves. It will be the most treasured album of your family. As you create this album about your lifetime story you will be leaving YOUR LEGACY OF FAITH. This is an album that can make an impact in your life as you create it, but it will also create a major impact in the lives of your family both now and in future generations. As your children read your story in this scrapbook that YOU created, they will take your stories to heart. Your stories may have more impact on them than even Bible stories, because they are personal and from someone they know and . When friends and neighbors pick up your storybook and look through it you will be witnessing without even saying a word. They will read your lifetime history and discover your of Jesus, and His forgiveness and faithfulness in your life!

The My Lifetime story challenges will begin the first Wednesday in January. A new challenge will be posted each Wednesday all throughout 2010. The last challenge will be posted the last Wednesday of December. Just because the challenge series ends at the end of 2010 doesn't mean your lifetime story album is finished. We will continue to offer periodic challenges to continue your autobiography and keep it current.

Please join us in this year long challenge! Some of these challenges may be layouts you have already completed. That is ok! We need to get these all compiled in your lifetime storybook. Everyone deserves to be the star of their own book, including and most importantly YOU! If you don't put some time aside to create your My Lifetime Story album now, you may never find the time. If something were to happen to you, would your legacy of faith be lost forever? Take action now, join us as we create our lifetime storybooks for the next generation to see the glorious work the Lord can do in the life of a woman that loves God!

Begin thinking about what size album you would like to use for your My Lifetime Story challenge. started hers in an 8x8 but now has decided that she needs more space so is moving up to a 12x12. is doing hers 12x12 also because she knew she had a lot she wanted to fit into this album. What size do you prefer? Start gathering your supplies now so you will be ready to start when we kick off the first challenge January 6th!

Snowman Picture Frame

Here is a simple idea for a gift when you need one in a hurry. I painted the frame with white MM paint. Gave it a couple of coats. Applied the snowman with glue dots. Gave the frame a coat of MS craft glue and applied coarse glitter. Let it dry over night.

SSC Challenge

Our challenge this week at SSC was to make a baby card. Since I don't own any kind of baby stamps this was different for me. I did come up with this card. Hope you all like it!!

This is my card for this time around. I used a MyGrafico digi stamp for the butterfly. I used glaze on the wings and for the black on it I used black Stickles.

CC- Halloween Card Swap

Here is the card that I made for the Halloween Card Swap. I used a digi stamp for the witch. I don't remember where I found her but I think she is so cute!!

SSSD - Pat's Sketch Challenge

This is the card that I made for Oct. for Pat's Sketch Challenge. I have never made one this size before and it was fairly easy. So I think maybe I will start making some this size.

SSC Challenge #6

The challenge for this week is to make a card letting know someone that you are thinking of them or praying for them. A"thinking of you" card is always sure to bring a smile to someone's face. And a "praying for you" card is sure to bring comfort. Both are blessings as much to those who give as to those who receive!

I made this card with my friend's sister in mind. She is fighting a battle with cancer right now and my friend has asked for a card shower for her. She just turned 25 this month and is wayyy to young to give up on such a battle. So this card is for Amanda!

I made this card using a digi stamp from MyGrafico. Our challenge was to make a card using a bird stamp. I used Bazzell CS and Basic Grey DP for the background.

This time we had to use "Ladybugs" on our card. I choose to use my Tilda stamp that had a ladybug on it. For the inside I cut a ladybug from my Cricut and glued it to the inside.
